I’m Michaeline Andrews (yes, that’s a girl’s name)
(My dad is a Michael; I have him to blame).
The pursuit of adventure is my favorite game,
And my best friend Nate, he feels just the same.
We go to the parkland most every day;
It’s just down the street, one block away.
Our magical glasses help us to see
Faraway friends like sweet elephant bees.
We never know what our adventure will be;
Often it happens near Willow the Tree.
When her best friend Nate is sick, young and curious Michaeline finds a new adventure by herself. She takes her dog for a walk and stares at the lake beneath the willow tree; to her surprise, she sees a fish wink at her. The fish must grant her a wish.
